Holiday Webcomic Posted & Spades Daily Webcomic Starts January 1st

F.I.S.T. Mark I by Anang Setyawan
Happy Holidays! We have posted a Christmas Webcomic featuring Major Luis IguarĂ¡n and Dr. Sadie Dawn from The Hunters. Enjoy!

With The Continuum Universe #4 and the January Spades Daily Webcomic closing in on us I thought I would showcase some Spades designs. Spades has been a mainstay in our core title The Continuum Universe and features a super-villain team with a hardcore vendetta against the United States Government. To even the playing field the U.S. has implemented robotic soldiers designed by Dr. Miles Niven...F.I.S.T. (Flying Infantry Shock Trooper).  Here is a design of the original F.I.S.T. Mark I unit, as seen in The Continuum Universe #1, and drawn by our current Spades artist Anang Setyawan.  In the current issues you will see the Mark II Units in operation with mentions of the human piloted Mark III to come.

Strangelight Daily Webcomic Wraps Up Today!

Strangelight Pt3 Pg6 by Kusbiantoro
The Strangelight Daily Webcomic has come to a close...for now.  There are 47 episodes up and these lead directly into Strangelight Part 1 which you can read in The Continuum Universe #2.  Writer Cameron Brewer has done a great job of laying the groundwork for this lost little girl and Kusbiantoro and Mark Roberts have really brought her to life.

Next month Relic & Ego #4 and The Continuum Universe #4 will both be available at Empire's Comics Vault or online.  Here is a little sample of the art from the Strangelight story.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read our webcomics and a special thanks to all of you who have taken the time to let us know what you think.  We will be starting up a Spades Daily Webcomic in January but will be posting Holiday webcomics over the next month to keep you coming back.

Have a great weekend, all.

It has been a long time.

Relic by Rodolfo Buscaglia
Here we are all the way at the end of 2010 and it has been a long while since I posted anything that is happening within the ECV/Continuum Universe. We have not stopped working and there is a lot coming your way very soon. Relic & Ego #4 is nearly done and The Continuum Universe #4 will be following shortly after. Issue #5 of each is already underway and will hit at the beginning of next year!

If you have not heard, we have started up our daily webcomics again. Currently you can see Strangelight: Strange Exordium 1-36 with 37 being posted first thing in the morning. This a particularly important as it is the lead into Strangelight Part 1 which appeared in The Continuum Universe #2.

You can also view Invisible War 1-6. We have had to redesign our website so you will recognize 1-4 but 5 and 6 are brand new and are worth paying attention to for events to come.

This is a character sketch of Relic done by Rodolfo Maximiliano Buscaglia. You can see his artwork on the upcoming Spades webcomic and The Continuum #4, Relic & Ego Big City Days Part 2. I am very excited to have him on board with our books and hope you all will as well.

Thank you for all of your continued support. All of us here...writers and artists...fully appreciate the chance you give us.

Have a great weekend.

When we decided to start Spades as a webcomic the artist wanted to give us a rendition of the characters in his style. This is Recon with the new costume we will start seeing from this point forward.

In Relic & Ego #3 we follow the enigmatic duo deep into an ancient Eldritch temple in pursuit of knowledge concerning the mysterious stone they have acquired. Here are the design sketches for the undead guardians forever cursed to protect the secrets held within. I wonder if Relic & Ego will make it out alive?! Well...we are in the middle of #4 so I guess there is more to come.

Here is the first conceptual drawing done of Strangelight's Reverend Lazarev. You can see his first appearance in The Continuum #3 and he comes back to cause more havoc in #4 which is nearly back from the printer.
