Where do we go from here...?

This last weekend was Sac-Con and this coming weekend is 24 Hour Comic Day! That means we are right in the middle of a very creative time for local comic writers and artists!  This is a much needed boost for me since 2011 has been the hardest year to date for the shop. Because of this ECV Press got pushed to the wayside. What does that mean exactly? It means I had to forgo all conventions this year and I have not devoted ANY time to my love of writing and publishing comics. That is changing as of now.

The store is back on it's feet after the fire and the move and as things stabilize in my life I realize just how much working on ECV Press projects means to me. It doesn't matter if it is simply writing a story or editing one of our writer. It could be formatting pages for the web or replying to emails. Just moving things along for The Continuum Universe is like a sedative. So fast forwarding past all the sappy stuff...

Here is what you can look forward to!

1) The printing of R&E #4

2) The printing of The Continuum Universe #4

3) The printing of The Hunters #3

4) Webcomics have started for a 44 part Relic & Ego story taking place between issues 2 and 3. These are in a newspaper strip style and will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The first 3 are up now and Monday 10-3-11 will feature part 4.

5) Speaking of webcomics there are 98 available now! 44 pages of Spades action, 47 pages of Strangelight (this is all prequel story taking place before their debut in The Continuum Universe #2), 6 pages of Invisible War and 1 Holiday Special!

6) There are 86 completed webcomics featuring all of our characters, and some that have not yet appeared in our books, waiting to be posted!

7) Myself and the other ECV Press writers are putting together comprehensive Bios for all our characters. History, powers, stats and teasers to be included.

8) The website will probably be getting an overhaul soon to make it streamlined and much easier to navigate.

Thank you all for your support, encouragement, critiques, interest and time. It is much appreciated by myself and the other members of ECV Press.

Have a great weekend and keep your eyes peeled for all we have in store!
